everything was working fine until last night the computer froze. since then, I can't start it because I get this:
[time] timed out waiting for device sys-subsystem-net-devices-username.device
[depend]dependency failed for automatic wireless connection using netctl profiles
[OK] reached target network
starting peer guardian linux
[OK]started peer guardian linux
[OK] reached target multi-user system
[OK] reached target graphical interface.
and it just stays there. if I hit ctrl+alt+f2 I'm asked my username and I get the command line. I've tried with
netctl list
netctl disable my-profile
but I get "no regular unit file found for profile 'my-profile'
any ideas?
ps.: right before that there's a sign saying that "a startup job is running" for that device

Anyone? It seems to have something to do with the linux kernel or the nvidia drivers, they were the last updates I received before this came up. And it seems that I'm not the only one.

I got through it by disabling NetworkManager

Awesome, you fixed is. I' m the guy who has similar issues on the forum right after the NVIDIA driver updates: I' ll give disabling Networkmanager a shot. How did you do so, just the following?
sudo systemctl disable NetworkManager.service
sudo reboot
How did you got NetworkManager working again afterwards? As soon as you enable it you should get stuck again, I presume.
