Hi everyone,
I wanted to install ArchLinux with UEFI boot on my yoga 2 pro.
I've created an EFI partition (with EF00 code) with 1024M of partition size.
Before using refind-install, I've added -w to grep "$InstallDir" /etc/mtab, like it was said on the refind wiki page. When I use refind-install, I got this log :
Installing rEFInd on Linux...
ESP was found at /boot using vfat
Copied rEFInd binary files
Copying sample configuration file as refind.conf: edit this file to configure rEFInd.
Installing it!
*** Error in `/usr/bin/efibootmgr`: free(): invalid next size (fast): 0x000000000187f1e0 ***
*** Error in `/usr/bin/efibootmgr`: malloc(): memory corruption: 0x000000000187f200 ***
After that, its hanging there, not giving prompt back. Really don't know what the problem is.
Thank you!

Seems like a bug in efibootmgr. What version are you running? Can you run
efibootmgr

I've got the same problem on a desktop gigabyte g1.sniper b5.
On 2014.11.01 installation and efibootmgr version 0.8.0
Did you find a solution?

efibootmgr will shortly by updated to version 0.10 (it's in testing), maybe that'll fix it.

Or you could use gummiboot.
