Audio not working - HDA Intel PCH (ALC3223 Analog) does not work

Hi all,

I'm a newbie to Linux and I've installed Arch today on a Dell Inspiron 7537. I've managed to install and run kde, but I don't have any sound at all. As soon as I login I get the following pop-up error "The audio playback device HDA Intel PCH (ALC3223 Analog) does not work. Falling back to Default." I've unmuted the volume in alsamixer and I've also moved the card as the preferred device in "Audio and Video Settings - KDE Control Module" over hdmi. Any advice on what to do next and what logs should I post on the forum?

Thanks.
