Stand-alone Grooveshark client?

I remember Nuvola player from my Ubuntu days, at the time I really really loved that app. Ever since development on it stopped I've struggle to find a decent browser-free grooveshark client that doesn't require a premium account (like tomahawk). From what I've found in AUR, gsharkdown seems to be rather unstable and while groovesquid does the job, looks ugly (I blame it on java?) and lacks basic media player features.

Does anyone know of another Grooveshark client I could try?

Re: Stand-alone Grooveshark client?

Have you tried Nuvola Player? It's in the AUR. You'll need to install lib32-flash-plugin as well as nspluginwrapper. To get it working with google play music I had to run:

$ nsplugginwapper --install /usr/lib32/mozilla/plugins/flashplugin.so

I don't remember the command exactly, but it's somethingl like that. There should be a grooveshark plugin for it you can set up.

EDIT: I really need to stop skimming posts. Yes Nuvola player is still in the AUR, but you've already heard of it. That's my only suggestion, I apologize.

Thanks anyway - yes I've heard of it, but I doubt it's the best option anymore... Besides, I'd like to avoid flash as possible, it's such a resource hog on my laptop.
