my upgrade to Xorg7 worked great, but hte only thing that went nuts was my username in kde, so I had to remove it and remake it, coz some settings made my task bar do weird and wonderful tricks. So bear in mind if you upgrade and have problems, login as a different user and see if the faults gone!

i has problem after xorg upgrade,
now xorg starts about 1,5 minute and all time uses hard drive.
Where i should look for a problem?

mga driver doesn't work on my machine. matrox tech support says:
Thought you were using our driver but you are using the xorg one, which means that you will need to recompile the DRI kernel module to match the driver and replace the currently installed one.
i would have thought the arch devs would have already compiled it that way? :?:
