mythtv plugins

I'm setting up mythtv for my home and can't seem to get the plugins working right. I downloaded the files from mythtv.org (themes/plugins). Themes installed perfect but I can't get the plugins to work. I heard that the plugins might be part of aur/abs but I don't know how to use it. I compiled the plugins and did a make install but nothing changes in myth on both the backend server and the frontend client (two computers). What am I doing wrong?

./configure --prefix=/usr/share/mythtv/
qmake mythplugins.pro
make && make install

Re: mythtv plugins

These plugins are in AUR. Using PKGBUILD from AUR is quite easy. Follow the guide:

Re: mythtv plugins

EDIT: sorry about that, I clicked on sources instead of the tarball link... stupid me!

ok I downloaded the package, exacted it to /var/abs/local/ and did makepkg in the current directory but this is what I got:

==> ERROR: ./PKGBUILD does not exist.

I did an ls of the extracted directory and its the same file as on mythtv.org's site? I thought these files where suppose to have a PKGBUILD file in them?
