Orphan Requests not getting a whole lotta love?

So I've been wondering about this for some time, hoping for it to get fixed by itself, it didn't, so I thought I should bring it up.

When looking at the amount of Orphan Requests made this month, a very tiny fraction of them is getting a response, apart from the automatically answered ones by the system itself.

Not only that, outside of Muflone, cryptocrack and felixonmars there hasn't been a whole lot of folks answering *any* of these requests after the initial hype, when the system was introduced.

So why is that? I thought we implemented this precisely because it's much easier to click some buttons that say *yes, orphan this package*, which even automatically notifies the mailing list as well.

Orphan requests have a 2 week waiting period.

Oh. All right. Well that's good.

Should I create a feature request against the site to maybe clarify that when creating the request?
