Hi all,
I've really tried to fix these, but I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall, so time to ask. Both problems have appeared recently.
1. cairo-dock crashes on right click. No fuss, no bother, and no helpful output if I launch from a terminal, For info, the terminal reports:
warning : (/build/cairo-dock/src/cairo-dock/src/cairo-dock.c:_cairo_dock_intercept_signal:180)
Cairo-Dock has crashed (sig 11).
It will be restarted now.
Feel free to report this bug on glx-dock.org to help improving the dock!
info on the system :
Linux Tex 3.17.0-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Oct 6 17:26:43 CEST 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Couldn't guess if it was an applet's fault or not. It may have crashed inside the core or inside a thread
restarting with 'cairo-dock'...
2. The application menu's icons have gone nuts, being every size under the sun, from tiny to huge. I've had this before a long time ago, and have no idea how I fixed it.
Any help appreciated.
Thank you.

Are you trying to run it with OpenGL?

Yes - but I've also tried with the cairo backend and safe mode - same result

Try a reinstall or reset to defaults. Could it possibly be the your GPU is flaking? I don't know just a few ideas to play around with. I've never really had issues with running CD on arch.

I've already tried a reinstall, and even tried the bzr version to no avail.
GPU is only 2 months old, and passes any test I throw at it.
I'm pretty sure problem 2 is a gtk problem, but fixes to gtkrc for the theme haven't helped.

Time to look at the journal my friend. If nothing shows up there you can try waiting to see if anyone else pitches in. Meanwhile open a terminal and run journalctl -f and try replicating the problem and see if anything stands out. Good luck!

I have the same problems but it seems to be limited to icons that are in svg format.
The crashing is a nuisance but I really only use CD if I have a session where I need to run a number of wine programs.
I have been too lazy to script startups.

I have exactly the same problem. It just crashes on right click on it. Added debug log at the bug description page.

Same problem here. Segfault on right click.

Today's update fixes right click.
Now I just have the icon issue - and it's driving me nuts. I assumed it was a gtk issue, and indeed it does appear to be related to toolbar icons, but no matter how many "fixes" I try in gtk-2's gtkrc and gtk-3's settings.ini, I can't fix it

I have a the same problem, it's look very ugly. I use the Numix theme, and Nitrux icons, I have this problem this GNOMEs applications like eog or evince. Maybe it's linked with GNOME integration.
