Unity Update AUR

I want to run Unity and keep updated packages in the AUR for the hell of it.

I want to attempt to provide a KISS solution by taking a default configuration from some Ubuntu snapshot and scripting it.

I want to know if I could do this using bash and ssh.

Moving to AUR issues (for the time being, it is entirely unclear what is being asked here)...

Re: Unity Update AUR

I'm trying to understand if someone could develop an automated way of maintaining Unity.  My idea was to take an up-to-date version of Unity on Ubuntu on a VM, figure out the dependencies and build them from source, then keep the VM updated and track which dependencies get updated, added, or removed for Unity.  Then whenever a dependency changes, build it new from source.  Would one be required to do all these steps manually, or could parts of it be automated?

Re: Unity Update AUR

How are these packages maintained now? Why not use them?
