Hello,
Since Skype questionably moved to PulseAudio, this last one treats my headphones as microphone even though they haven't any! Headsets usually have a microphone, but mine are just headphones. So, basically it forwards the sound as if it came from a microphone. For example: if I listen to music (of any kind: local, web etc) applications, such as arecord, can record that music.
What could it be wrong and how can I fix it?
Many thanks.

Yeah, I have figured out how to disable that! I'll share what I've done so anyone may benefit from it.
The simplest way is using Pulse Audio Volume Control (pavucontrol, available in extra): go in "Input Devices" => From the ListBox, select "All Input Devices" => Mute your internal audio.
Otherwise, you can use pacmd: Type pacmd set-source-mute device 1. man pacmd(1) for further information about it.
I hope you could solve your issue.
