Asus EeePC 1005PE Wireless

My wireless card on the ASUS 1005PE(EeePC) does not show up on lspci, iw dev or iw phy(unsure if the last two will actually do anything)

Wlan is enabled in the bios and Fn-F2 turns the LED on/off

Was running Ubuntu beforehand, upgraded from 13.04 to 14.04 and wireless stopped working.

Is it toast? or could it be a software/hardware lock I am unaware of?

Am a newb, posting in corner.

Re: Asus EeePC 1005PE Wireless

So, am I getting this wrong, or are you using Ubuntu?

Nevertheless, if you're running Arch, there's a kernel in the AUR with firmware for the Broadcom chip found in most Atom PC's.
