sync && reboot -f command not work

Since I upgraded to 3.16 Kernel, I've been having problems when I try to turn off my Laptop Lenovo IdeaPad U510. I posted something about it on this forum but got no response.

Well, I kept looking and I found this site [1]. I did what you suggested and something funny happens, LTS Kernel, the command:

sync && reboot -f

restarted the Laptop. But with the 3.17 kernel tells me:

Rebooting ... 

but does nothing.
