Hello,
For the past few days I saw that there are no updates for me using pacman, but I did saw updates in the repo.
After checking what is installed at my system, I found out that there is no database, and according to pacman nothing is installed.
For example:
ik@rebirth /tmp % systemctl --version ![]()
systemd 216
+PAM -AUDIT -SELINUX -IMA -APPARMOR +SMACK -SYSVINIT +LIBCRYPTSETUP +GCRYPT +GNUTLS +ACL +XZ -LZ4 +SECCOMP +BLKID -ELFUTILS +KMOD -IDN
ik@rebirth /tmp % pacman -Ss systemd
core/libsystemd 216-3
systemd client libraries
core/netctl 1.9-1 (base)
Profile based systemd network management
core/systemd 216-3
system and service manager
Is there a way to restore this information, instead of reinstalling Arch ?

Easiest would be if you could restore your database files from a recent backup.
Also have a look here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pa … l_database
I put at button on it. Yes. I wish to press it, but I'm not sure what will happen if I do. (Gune | Titan A.E.)

Thank you, it helped a lot, and now things are restored.
