Hey everyone. A few years ago, bruenig posted dvol here in community contributions, and I wanted to make my own version, and share it with you guys.
I made dzvol.

It's a similar concept, but a different approach. His program was responsible for actually changing your volume.
Mine polls ALSA for volume percent and status and displays the change to dzen2 updating in real-time. If there is no change for a set timeout, it'll exit.
It takes mostly the same parameters dzen2 would accept, which can be changed via command line.
