Unable to get wireless to work on Arch linux.

Hey guys I'm in sort of a pickle right now.
I can't get my wireless to work I've read the wiki and It hasn't helped to much.

Here is some more links of stuff I read/tried
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/broadcom_wireless
http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/b43/
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=169847

03:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11bgn Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)

I did at one point was able to have wireless on arch working on this computer. Then I had to format this labtop and lost everthing.   I forgot the command I did to get it to work.
When I did this It said I was connected to a network under battery right here
The only thing I kind of rembeber is having to do a systemclt command and make it so it starts up when the system boots up.
It's the exact same computer with the exact some Distro,Setup, DE. I don't know what It could be

It would also tell me if I was on a wired network now it doesn't even do that. It still allows me to connect to the internet however.

I also have gotten it to search and scan and connect wirelessly once.
I did this through
wifi-menu
I rebooted the system and I lost it I still have the profile but it says however I'm unable to connect.

Re: Unable to get wireless to work on Arch linux.

Provided that you could connect 'manually' with wifi-menu, then all the hard stuff is out of the way: you have the needed driver, and everything is working.  The icon you no longer have in the taskbar was most likely nm-applet which works with network manager.  You may need to install and will definitely need to configure network manager.  See here.

EDIT: oops - I missed that when you tried to reconnect you got an error.  Perhaps there is more to this.  If there is, we'll need a lot more information.  Some of the pages you link to describe how to get diagnostic information (such as lscpi output).  That output could be useful here if setting up network manager doesn't get you back where you want to be.

Re: Unable to get wireless to work on Arch linux.

So which driver are you supposed to be using according to that page and what, exactly, did you do to try and make it work?

Don't use wifi menu, or any other tool: attempt a manual setup and connection first as that way you will work out exactly where it is failing (and be able to post informative debugging information here if it doesn't work).

Moving to NC...

Alright I started this up and I was able to get it working where it would say I'm connected to wired. Nothing yet about wireless.

Here are some outputs
(Not even sure if this would help)

So which driver are you supposed to be using according to that page and what, exactly, did you do to try and make it work?

Don't use wifi menu, or any other tool: attempt a manual setup and connection first as that way you will work out exactly where it is failing (and be able to post informative debugging information here if it doesn't work).

Moving to NC...

According to the wireless.kernerl.org I should be using brcm80211
http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/brcm80211

Sorry for posting in the wrong section.

Re: Unable to get wireless to work on Arch linux.

So, now you know what driver to use, you can attempt to connect manually.
