Crackling sound with Borderlands 2

Hi all im new to arch and linux itself 5 weeks in and everything works great however i have just bought a Logitech G930 headset which works fine except when i load Borderlands 2 via steam. The sound is crackly but the game itself runs fine.

I have tried adding load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0 to the /etc/pulse/default.pa file and i have also tried to add speex-float-0 to the daemon.conf  file. The hedset works fine with everything else VLC, Firefox and Radiotray. Im on a 64bit system and the packages i have got for sound are pulseaudio, pulseaudio-alsa. lib32-libpulse, alsa-plugins, lib32-alsa-plugins, pavucontrol.

Also run steam from the console and check the console for errors like buffer underruns
