Totem and Lirc

Well, I have lirc set up but it seems no of the commands are getting to Totem.  I have set my .lircrc in my home folder for the specific commands i want.  If I do "irw" and press buttons it shows them on terminal.  I though it might be because totem is on /opt/gnome/bin/ but I linked it to /usr/bin/ and still no success. sad

Any help would be appreciated. wink

Re: Totem and Lirc

Hey man,

I had my remote working when i had kde. It has a little app called irkick that controls all that stuff but it only works with kde apps.

With xfce i did i manually but it wastnt that streight forward.
I remember having to recompile some media players to work with it. ie xmms/bmp player has a plugin. And xine might have to be recompiled with the ir tags. (i have the pkg and pkgbuild).

Gnome might have a simaller app to kde's irkick. Let me no if you find one.
