I'm glad to see that sddm is finally in Community instead AUR. I've been using it a long time and install it whenever installing Arch on a friend's computer. This time, I was surprised to see that there's no sddm.conf.
Here's the output of 'pacman -Ql sddm | grep etc'
sddm /etc/
sddm /etc/dbus-1/
sddm /etc/dbus-1/system.d/
sddm /etc/dbus-1/system.d/org.freedesktop.DisplayManager.conf
sddm /etc/pam.d/
sddm /etc/pam.d/sddm
sddm /etc/pam.d/sddm-autologin
sddm /etc/pam.d/sddm-greeter
Notice that '/etc/sddm.conf' is not on the list.
How should I customize sddm? For example, how to set AutoUser? Is there some new method involving systemd?
Or, is this a bug of the version in Community? Should it have included '/etc/sddm.conf'?
I have reported a bug: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/42592

touch /etc/sddm.conf
Problem solved.
Online
It also didn't include it before it was moved to community, it's an unpstream decision. Run
# sddm --example-config > /etc/sddm.conf

Thanks. I have filed an upstream bug: https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/301
