xorg problem

Hi, I just installed Arch (wauw it boots fast smile) and everything is working (even my wireless with Ndiswrapper) except my Xorg. I dit:

pacman -S xorg
xorgconfig
pacman -S hwd
hwd -x
mv xorg.conf.hwd xorg.conf (in /etc/X11)

and when I try Xorg-configure or startx I always have some errors.

First I saw after a startx:
xf86OpenConsole Cannot open /dev/tty0 (permission denied)

But when I did an udev upgrade this was fixed. But when I do startx now I see:

Cannot move old log file ("/var/log/Xorg.0.log to /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old")

Thread already exists.  This has been solved with xorg-server 1.0.1-6 - wait for a bit and then re-update your system and this problem will go away.

Re: xorg problem

Maybe Xorg doesn't find the module, try to reinstall nvidia drivers. Maybe that solves it.

Re: xorg problem

I needed to "pacman -S nvidia" again to get rid of those GLX errors
