Keyboard layout problem

First, i'm not "linux amateur".

Decided to move to Arch Linux, read Arch wiki, now trying to install.

But i have big problem with keyboard layout...

I've executed this command: (because Slovak QWERTZ layout is my native)

# loadkeys sk-qwertz

but keyboard layout is still not Slovak! It's still US layout, just QWERTZ. The US and SK layout have slashes and dashes in completely different place and its really getting on my nerves (since its used everywhere)

I also tried other keyboard and language releated commands (corresponding to "Installation guide" and "Beginners' guide" wiki pages)

Any ideas?

Re: Keyboard layout problem

Do you want to have the keyboard layout in the console or in X?

Making sure we're on the same page.
