Hello everyone,
My system is always freezing randomly when I run sublime text 2 or 3.
Generally, if I do not run this program I do not have any problems but when I run it, it freezes
90% every time.
When it freezes I cannot do anything.
Even CapsLock led or ctrl+alt+f1/f2 doesn't work so the only thing to do is to force my system to poweroff from the power button ![]()
read every single relative post on this forum to equal situations but nothing helped at all.
After rebooting my system, I check my journal as sudoer
and I get these errors
BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 000000000000001c

Many thanks but how can I upgrade to kernel 3.18 ?
I upgraded my system though pacman
sudo pacman -Syubut I still have the same version 3.17.1.1 (I guess it happens because it's the latest stable kernel)
If I install from AUR is it ok ?

That patch is not in rc-2, AFAIK. Either patch 3.17.x yourself, or downgrade.

is there an easy way to downgrade to the previous stable version with pacman ?
