Pacman hooks has been on the roadmap (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/De … an_Roadmap) for quite a while. It's been years and theres still nothing. Any updates on this?

Subscripbe to the pacman-dev mailing list. Better still, get into the source code yourself and submit patches.

So what you're saying is that there's been no progress at all, and hooking functionality needs to be implemented from scratch?

Jumping to conclusions is great fun, isn't it? Exactly where did i say there's been no progress at all?
You asked if there were any updates, so I directed you to resources where such updates might be found.

I too would like to see hooks functionality added in pacman.
It's one of those features I miss most after coming here from debian (apt-get) world.
Any eta on this feature?
