I know this sounds incredibly stupid, but I did. I tried sorting the mirror list and now I can't seem to download certain packages from extra, and I'd like to go back to the original mirror list. I just can't seem to figure out which package the mirror list is contained in.
If someone can just point me in the right direction, that would be great
At least I managed to resist the urge to try uninstalling pacman and reinstalling it
(no, I'm really not an idiot, I just do really stupid things some times)
Thanks,
Ethilien

The /etc/pacman.d files are part of pacman, so reinstalling it is actually the right thing to do.

Just for the record the contents of /etc/pacman.d is in the package pacman, if you don't wanna reinstall pacman, just
pacman -Sw pacman
tar xzvf /var/cache/pacman/pkg/pacman-* -C /tmp
cp -R /tmp/etc/pacman.d /etc/

Thanks _Gandalf_, that worked
For some reason reinstalling pacman gave an error, so I'm glad you posted the instructions on how to get the pacman.d folder out of its package
Problem solved
