[SOLVED] nvidia-340xx installation returns a 404 from all servers

This has happened every time I've tried to switch to nvidia-340xx.

My system is a bit out of date, because I haven't had the time to do the maintenance. Trying to switch to the proper drivers for my 9600GT so I can update freely.

Update your system first. The problem will go away.

Specifically, the version in your database is no longer available.  You must do a pacman -Syu

Oh, thanks. I was under the impression you were supposed to maintain your system according to the news, and then update.

Anyway, I got it. Thanks. Marking it solved.
