kworker /u8:3 sucking up io resources

okay   so i just noticed my machine is really slow lately   and so installed iotop   to find  that  aprocess called kworker/u8:3 is doing constand writes to the disk   over 50% on the iotop list   i cant kill it  and it didnt happen some time ago   just wondering if theres a way to stop it

nevermind i figured it out    it was a leftover from kde
