Hello toghter,
I'm quit new in the this forum. For the most problems I find here really good solutions.
But for the Problem now I aven´t anthing found here what works.
I use a HP EliteBook 840 G1 with a Intel 7260 WiFi card. So he deteced the card and see the networks but if i try to access I get no connection. I tried it over the network Manager and the wifi menu.
What else could i try?
Thank in advance

Have you tried doing it manually? That might give an error to help diagnose the problem.

Have you tried to tried the manual setup?

Network Manager stopped working for me long time ago (i ever tried it again), so you can give a try to Wicd.

i tried it now, didn´t it before and I get the out ( I replaced only the SSID[XXX] and the password[xxxpass]):

Aso tried it with wicd so get get some error with the dbus. Could it be based on this?
The cmd out from the try:
/usr/share/wicd/gtk/gui.py:458: Warning: Source ID 56 was not found when attempting to remove it gobject.source_remove(self.update_cb)

wpa_passphrase hashes the password before feeding it to wpa_supplicant. What happens if you don't use it?
network={
ssid="YOUR SSID"
psk="YOUR KEY"
}
And then use that file as config for wpa_supplicant?

I also tried it direkly with the direct key like you say, no success als oon this way. It is laso a endless loop.

Make sure your key is correct. If you can, try to change your AP's key to one with characters only among
a-zA-Z0-9.-_

The key is correct and is ony with a-z and 1-9 so it shoub be no problem. I check it many times and try with the same data on the other pc there it is working.
Any idear what I can do about this problem:?

This is not related to your networking issue but to wicd (I don't know anything about it, so can't help).
As things currently are, I'd try to stick to the manual approach.

What is this other computer running? can you get its configuration file?
