Banshee Stalling to Start

I've noticed that after I run Banshee to play music, and then close out of it, I can't seem to get it to open up again. Trying to run it from it from the command line simply hangs on the loading of the command, and will stay there indefinitely without ever opening or reporting that it failed to open the program. I've tried removing it, purging my configuration, and killall banshee after closing, but it still seems to hang. Has anyone else had any of these issues? If not, any suggestions on how I might be able to fix this? Thanks.

This bug has already been reported and confirmed: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/42500

Currently only a downgrade and a locking of the sqlite package helps until a fix for either sqlite or banshee is released.
