ati-drivers

Hey,

I just upgraded the new ati-drivers-8.22.5-4. My pc now boots to a black screen when X is about to start. Can't get to user mode. How do I get out of this?
I forgot how to boot in repair or single mode to try to fix this. I can really use some help here.
I did all the symlink, etc as the instructions said during the pacman installation. I got a install error which I can't remember but I did see it posted yesterday by someone else but as I went back to that posting, that part we edited out. Hmm... strange but I just need some help here.

Re: ati-drivers

Boot to runlevel 3 (or 1 if you have kdm/gdm in daemons array of rc.conf). To do that in lilo (maybe grub is the same), add 3 at the end of the boot line.

I figured it out just after I posted it. Now I've booted but afraid to reboot as I may lose it again.
