[Solved] No init messages on boot.

Hello,

I just installed Arch according to the installation guide on the wiki and everything went fine except there's no init output during boot except for "Starting version 217" and the fsck output. I tried Arch a few months ago and there was detailed output. Did I do something different this time? It does seems to boot a lot faster even though it's on a slower machine and everything seems to have been started properly. Is all the initialization happening on the initramfs now?

Remove "quiet" from your kernel line...

Thanks. I was thinking that would just hide the kernel log messages.

Apart from 'quiet' you can use e.g. 'systemd.show_status=0'. See the man page for details.
