The aur page is really nice, but i think as there are packages added and feature like the main page to sort by date would be really nice. sometimes it's nice to browse pkgs based on being updated or added, but then again, maybe it's just me.

bosewicht, that's a good idea. This info is stored in the DB, it's surely just a matter of expanding the search criteria.

Check out this bug report - it used to be there, the code is still there, it's just missing from the GUI. You can do sort-by-age directly in the URL, though, for the moment.
I'd do the patch myself, but I don't know PHP.

Yeah, that's right - but admitting it is the hardest part, right? It's all uphill from here...

Sort by Date until implemented in GUI with this link:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?SB=a&SO=d
I still hope to see it "GUIfied"

As noted by cotton in the bug report, Sigi's URL will give you the 25 newest packages in the AUR, but clickling "More" will revert to alphabetic sorting. Read the report for full details.

Improved workaround:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?S … O=0&PP=100 displays the latest 100 changed packages.
