/usr/bin/{dir,vdir,ls} binaries

/usr/bin/dir
/usr/bin/vdir
/usr/bin/ls

All these files have the same contents, shouldn't they be hardlinks to one file?

Those 3 files all belong to coreutils-8.23-1 .

Looking at the packagebuild, it doesn't seem to change these files, so it appears upstream wants to do it that way.

Note : hardlinks are often a bad idea, in general softlinks (ln -s) are preferred .


Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Although, hardlinks in the same directory would be fine...
