nv module

Hello.
I have nvidia fx5200 video card. Does anybody know how to install and configure X server so it uses nv module? When I do hwd -x I'm getting vesa driver in xorg.conf. I tried nvidia drivers but screen is off and actually I'm getting better resoults with vesa driver. Thanks for help.

Install nvidia packgage and use nvidia module.

pacman -S xf86-video-nv

and in /etc/X11/xorg.conf:
Driver "nv"

pacman -S nvidia to install nvidia drivers for linux .. then you should edit your xorg config file.For more information check this :
