Hello
So yesterday 11/19/14 I did a full system upgrade. So now I am having an issue when my screensaver is activated. After a few minutes on the screen saver, maybe less, my laptop shuts down. I am using xscreensaver and xfce. I am not too sure what to do to try to diagnose the problem. Any help would be great. Thanks.

First place to look would be your journal. Then look through pacman's log to see what was updated.

Maybe you have something like "suspend/hibernate after x minutes of no activity" enabled in xfce4-power-manager?
