broadcom-wl-lts / bcm4331 / frequent wifi drops - MBP 8,1

After switching to broadcom-wl-lts from b43-firmware I am experiencing much better data transfer rates, and longer lasting connectivity, but am still experiencing frequent drops.  Now I am getting the following error in dmesg:

[ 6181.610666] ERROR @wl_dev_intvar_get : error (-1)
[ 6181.610675] ERROR @wl_cfg80211_get_tx_power : error (-1)

The drops happen at random intervals, but once it happens once, then it seems to happen at shorter and shorter intervals.  I had a few hours of stable connectivity this morning, just got my first drop about 20 minutes ago, and now I will get dropped multiple times per hour.

I have the bcm4331 chip, using broadcom-wl-lts from the aur.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Here is the output of netctl status at the moment of the last drop:

Nov 26 17:15:20 arch dhcpcd[463]: wlp3s0: carrier lost
Nov 26 17:15:21 arch dhcpcd[463]: wlp3s0: deleting route to 10.0.0.0/24
Nov 26 17:15:21 arch dhcpcd[463]: wlp3s0: deleting default route via 10.0.0.1
