For the last couple days, when I try to wake my laptop from suspend, the disk and fan spin up, but the "sleep" light remains on and the screen stays black.
1) systemctl suspend
2) wait for the laptop to sleep
3) press the power button
4) disk and sometimes fan (depending on the temperature) spin up. The screen stays black and the "sleep" light stays on.
5) hold the power button to turn it off
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T60 2007. The kernel's 3.17.3 from Arch's repo, and everything else is up to date as well. I don't know what, I did, if anything, to cause this.
What other information would be useful? Any ideas what I can try?

I have the same problem, started this weekend after a full system update.
I'm using 32bit Arch with Asus EEEPC 1005HA.
Let me know what kind of info you need to help. Checking journalctl for entries around the suspend / reboot gives me nothing.

Thanks, skunktrader. That was the cause of my problem, and the solution for it.
