I have a clean installation of Arch on a new computer, so there are no configurations that could conflict.
Skype instantly crashes and gdb unveils:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0xf5119c32 in ?? () from /usr/lib32/libfontconfig.so.1
While "pacman -Q" says, that both: fontconfig and lib32-fontconfig are installed in version 2.11.1-1
I haven't found any advice on the net or our wiki/forum.
Anyone got an idea to solve this?

Okay, I figured it out:
This is caused by the fix listed in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/St … n_Motion_2
If you restore the old fontconfig, Skype works again. Also I just needed to start CiM2 once with the modified version, now that I restored the old fine, the fonts ingame are a bit weird but they are readable and the game works!
