[WORKAROUND] 44.1 kHz resampling crackling in Wine

I hear a quiet crackling sound when I play music loudly (especially like this). What I found out so far:

1) It appears only when I play 44.1 kHz files. 48 kHz and higher are completely OK.
2) It affects both ALSA and PulseAudio.
3) It affects both of my sound cards.
4) Everything is OK in Linux Mint. I tried to compare config files and copy them from Mint to Arch, but no joy.

So, the problem should be in resampling in ALSA, and it is most probably fixable by configuring or by installing something. I tried to configure defaults.pcm.dmix.rate, defaults.pcm.rate_converter, and some options mentioned here, but it didn't change anything.

Any ideas?

Re: [WORKAROUND] 44.1 kHz resampling crackling in Wine

The problem turned out to be in Wine. I was only using foobar2000, so I didn't notice that the native players work fine.

So, the problem occurs only in Arch, only in Wine, and only with 44100 / 22050 / 11025 Hz audio files. I worked it around by adding 48 kHz resampling in foobar2000 (Preferences -> Playback -> DSP Manage -> PPHS Resampler).
