Plan 9 + Linux?

So I got an idea yesterday. How well do you think a Linux setup (Arch or otherwise) replacing the GNU userland with the Plan 9 system would work? Obviously this wouldn't be for serious, major work, but just as an experiment.
At the very least, if it works, Stallman wouldn't be able to go on about how it's GNU/Linux

The suckless community (or at lest some of its members) wanted to make it happen, but so far the effort is directed towards http://sta.li/

You can use some plan9 tools https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/?O=0&K=plan9 in Arch if you want.

Aww, I thought this would have been a relatively unexplored idea, but it looks like I'm very late to the game. It looks like gnu2plan9-coreutils already does what I was thinking of doing

More of their effort actually seems to be going toward Morpheus Linux these days. At least it's progressed further than stali ever did.
