[SOLVED] Steam (installed through WINE) store page does not load

In my ever-waging battle to be able to play some of my favorite games on Linux (namely Blacklight: Retribution and Torchlight 2), I have finally broken down and installed Steam through WINE.

I already got through the issue where no text is displayed (the dwrite issue). However, the Store page does not load (same issue as here). That page recommends installing lib32-nss-mdns (which is not in the repos but is in the AUR). I did, but the Store page still does not load. Any ideas what I should try next?

All the best,

-HG

I had the same problem installing Steam through Playonlinux. Installing the MS Fonts fixed the issue.

If you mean aur/ttf-ms-fonts, I have that installed and I just restarted steam and the issue is still present. Any other ideas? That worked perfectly!
