Re: Gnome-Shell Animations

If you're talk about how the Windows behave, such as fading in/out, minimising to a corner and so on, I believe that's handled by mutter (GNOME's Window Manager).

Some of these things can be done with xfwm (XFCE's Window Manager). You can also run XFCE with other Window Managers, such as Compiz or Kwin (which coincidentally have loads of eye-candy).

Claire is fine.
Problems? I have dysgraphia, so clear and concise please.

Re: Gnome-Shell Animations

Thanks clfarron4 for the clarification. But I was asking more on it's extensions and notification animations in gnome-shell.

Those are part of gnome-shell i guess. Can these animation be obtained by using mutter alone in xfce ?
