Launch Keys not working on keyboard

I have a keyboard with some special launch keys.  I am able to set some of them with KDE's global shortcuts settings, but others aren't recognized when I try to set them as the trigger.  They are recognized in dmesg though as unknown keys.  How do I get these buttons to work?

Thanks.

Re: Launch Keys not working on keyboard

I've had no luck following this page https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ma … o_keycodes

I'm using a PS/2 keyboard, not USB.  I'm having no luck either using the hwdb or setkeycoads.  I just can't seem to get KDE to recognize the key.

Re: Launch Keys not working on keyboard

If you can't generate a {scan, key}code, you won't be able to use the keys.
