Git Kernel Bisect on Arch

I still have the problem described here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=183192
I posted on the kernel bugtracker but no one wanted to solve the problem so I wanted to try it on my own. Or at least find the patch that broke it. I found out that a git bisect is probably the way to go, and found some descriptions but failed totally to use them on Arch.
Did any one ever try this before? And maybe has some explanation for me?

Bisecting kernel is similar to bisecting mesa https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bisecting_Mesa

Replace every mesa with linux (kernel) and that is all you need.
