Re: [Request] empc-git

Why not take one of my others and give it a shot yourself? I noticed Mike renamed this and moved it from his repos to the apps, but since I don't even use mpd, I don't plan on packaging it.

Re: [Request] empc-git

Well that was my initial plan but it didn't work quite well. Copied the one from terminology modified it and it didn't work.

Re: [Request] empc-git

That's because it uses a different autogen script than most of the other EFL apps. Most of them use an autogen script that runs ./configure for you, this one doesn't, so you'll have to run ./configure --prefix=usr separately.

You'll also want to grab a pkgver function from one of my other packages, such as econcentration-git. This doesn't do the versioning the same way as Terminology.

Re: [Request] empc-git

So i have to run ./configure after autogen?

It fails/complains about azy missing? What is this thing?

BTW your efl-git package needs a dep on libinput.

Re: [Request] empc-git

Azy got merged into maelstrom.

As for libinput, yeah, I saw devilhorns did a bunch of work on ecore-drm a week or so ago. Haven't gone through and checked everything since then.

faild due to a header file so i guess Mike has to do something in his code for this to work. hmm

I'll give it a go at another time.

Re: [Request] empc-git

I was looking at this, too. The README file says

this is not a released project.

there is no support, issue tickets will probably be deleted,
and your computer may explode.

do not use this.

Waiting is probably a Good Thing. (Though I'm curious to see what it will do.)

Re: [Request] empc-git

Yes i know. He moved the project to a somehow more "official" place in the git repos (from his personal repo) two days ago so it means it's closer to prime time.
