Hi,
New procps-ng top can show graphs for CPU and MEM. One of modes is bar graph, where graph area shows three parts: bold (or reverse) bars, plain bars and spaces. I've read man page but couldn't find explanation as what bold and plain bars mean.

The %Cpu(s) graph and Mem portion of the memory graphs are designed to offer a visual clue as to the separate elements comprising them.
What separate elements are they comprising?
