USB/MTP problem with htc one mini

Hi,

I have an HTC one mini phone (android 4.4.2); whenever I try to plug it in to my laptop via usb, I get some weird errors, not really sure what is going on, but basically I can not access it. If I connect it while I am logged in into KDE, I get the "available devices" popup with 5-6 unnamed devices, and it "resets" every second.

If I try without being logged in into a KDE session, I get the same messages from dmesg, but the usb device does not get resetted. In this case I can use mtp-detect, and I get a decent output interleaved with `cdm_acm` messages. Any other mtp releated command (like mtp-filetree) does not produce any output and has to be interrupted.

Thank you for your help!

Re: USB/MTP problem with htc one mini

Have you tried kdeconnect?
