all in one log with rsyslog

Hi,

How can I catch all the system output into one file? Must I put "*.*" in rsyslog.conf?

Re: all in one log with rsyslog

Is something missing from systemd's journal?

Re: all in one log with rsyslog

I just want to use rsyslog for permanent, not encrypted and accessible-everywhere logs

Re: all in one log with rsyslog

How have you configured the journal?

Storage=none

+ forwarding to syslog should work.

Re: all in one log with rsyslog

I didn't mean the edit the config to enable forwarding, I should have written '+ rsyslog pulling from the journal' instead.
Sorry.
