[SOLVED]xorg virtualbox

Hi,

I installed arch on virtualbox.
next step: Install xorg. Instal xorg-init and windowmaker. Xorg -configure and cp /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

startx 

window flashes and returns to the console

$ grep EE /var/log/Xorg.0.log

what is the problem ? how to check ?

Firstly, the X server no longer requires configuration (generally speaking).

Secondly, "Server terminated successfully" suggests to me that you have not written/configured ~/.xinitrc
