tv app config (xawtv) with X Error of failed request

Hi,

today i plugged the TV cable into the Leadtek Winast TV2000 xp (the one that stands unused for months in my box)
I surprisingly heard some voices coming out from nowhere when i rebooted in Arch (& no, i wasn't scared wink but surprised as they seemed to come out right from my box !? )

now i launched
$ xawtv -hwscan

This is xawtv-3.94, running on Linux/i686 (2.6.15-ARCH)
looking for available devices
port 274-274                            [ -xvport 274 ]
    type : Xvideo, video overlay
    name : video4linux

port 275-275
    type : Xvideo, image scaler
    name : NV17 Video Texture

port 276-307
    type : Xvideo, image scaler
    name : NV05 Video Blitter

/dev/video0: OK                         [ -device /dev/video0 ]
    type : v4l2
    name : BT878 video (Leadtek WinFast 20
    flags: overlay capture tuner

/dev/video1: OK                         [ -device /dev/video1 ]
    type : v4l
    name : Flexcam 100 Camera
    flags:  capture

, Then
$ xawtv -device /dev/video0

This is xawtv-3.94, running on Linux/i686 (2.6.15-ARCH)
X Error of failed request:  XF86DGANoDirectVideoMode
  Major opcode of failed request:  137 (XFree86-DGA)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  1 (XF86DGAGetVideoLL)
  Serial number of failed request:  65
  Current serial number in output stream:  65

I'm using Xorg7, so i installed xf86-video-v4l, but that didn't change xawtv output. Note that i use nVidia driver.
As i found nothing but one post on Arch french forum, googling a bit shows that it might be nVidia/OpenGL related. But launching $ xawtv -nogl (-noxv) didn't change nothing in this location.

after i simply launched
$ xawtv which seems to work fine, but I've got no image at all (& no more voices coming out from nowhere wink ) manually scanning showed no evidence of any signal.

$ scantv asked me "TV Norm" --> SECAM then a frequency table --> france but :

[global]
freqtab = france

[defaults]
input = Television
norm = SECAM

vbi: open failed [/dev/vbi]
open /dev/vbi: No such file or directory

Got tvtime installed but
$ tvtime-scanner -n SECAM parsed every frequencies without finding a single channel ?

I'm almost certainly forgetting to config or load something, but dunno howto go further without some guidance. If you please can show me the way, I'd appreciate

sorry for the long post
