AUR upload: how to update View PKGBUILD?

Hi,

This is my first ever attempt at uploading an AUR package: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/qelectrotech/

It looks and works fine, except for the View PKGBUILD link: unlike everything else, is is not updated. What am I missing?

I tried, more than once. It did the trick, eventually. The change took more than 10 minuted to filter through. Why?

Things take time to update. Sometimes almost no time, other times it'll take 10+ minutes.

Browser can be loading the page from its own cache rather than downloading a fresh copy. Firefox is notorious for that sort of thing. The next time you see something like this, clear the cache or try getting the page with curl.

My guess is this is what Scimmia meant. Many browsers have shortcuts for bypassing the cahe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia% … your_cache
