Strange embedded media issue in firefox after suspend

Hi,
Sometimes after suspending and resuming my laptop, I notice a problem in firefox whereby embedded media (eg flash/HTML5 video on youtube, ogg files on wikipedia) will buffer but never play. Firefox's CPU usage goes very high when this happens. Closing firefox and opening it again doesn't fix the problem. The workaround I've found is to open a media file outside of firefox (eg play an audio file in VLC), which instantly fixes the problem, and embedded media start playing again.

Anyone know what's going on here?

Thanks!

Re: Strange embedded media issue in firefox after suspend

Is there anything in your logs when this happened?

I put at button on it. Yes. I wish to press it, but I'm not sure what will happen if I do.  (Gune | Titan A.E.)
